FAQ
What are TCGplayer fees in 2026?
Marketplace Sellers (Level 1-4 accounts) pay a 10.75% commission as of the February 10, 2026 fee increase, up from 10.25%. Pro Sellers pay 9.25% commission plus Pro tool access. Both pay payment processing on top.
What is TCGplayer Direct?
TCGplayer Direct routes orders through TCGplayer's warehouse. The seller ships inventory to TCGplayer once, and Direct fulfills sales. Direct charges a Shipping Replacement Cost (SRC) per order based on card count and value, plus the standard commission.
Should I upgrade to Pro Seller?
Pro Seller is worth it once you sell roughly $300-500/month. Lower commission (9.25% vs 10.75%) and access to bulk pricing tools recover the subscription cost quickly. Below that volume, stay on Marketplace.
How does TCGplayer compare to eBay?
TCGplayer Marketplace at 10.75% + processing nets sellers slightly less than eBay's 13.25% only on cards under $200 once eBay's store discounts factor in. For cards $1,000+, eBay's 50% high-value discount makes it materially cheaper than TCGplayer.
