Pokémon Center
The Pokémon Center queue, by the numbers
Updated August 21, 2026 · 19 documented queue openings
Pokémon Center publishes no restock schedule and support will not give you one. What exists is a record of when the queue has actually opened. Across 19 documented openings the range is 10:09am to 3:50pm ET, median 12:49pm ET — and once the queue opens, product has gone live 5–77 minutes later (median 13).
Is Pokémon Center dropping today?
Checking today’s drop window…
Pokémon Center drops on weekdays (never weekends), most often ~10am–4pm ET (7am–1pm PT), peaking around midday to 1pm ET. Midweek is the busiest stretch. No day is safe to skip — surprise restocks hit any weekday.
Quick answer version: Is Pokémon Center dropping today?
The window moved in 2026
This is the part most guides miss, because they were written against 2025 behaviour. The queue used to open deep into the afternoon; it no longer does.
| Period | Openings | Range (ET) | Median | Busiest day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 (Mar–May) | 9 | 10:43am – 3:50pm | 12:53pm | Thu (33%) |
| 2026 (Jun–Jul) | 10 | 10:09am – 1:13pm | 12:12pm | Wed (50%) |
10 of the 10 openings logged in 2026 landed between 10:00 AM and 1:15 PM ET. If you are following older advice to watch until 4 PM, you are watching hours that have not produced a drop in over a year — and if you are only watching Tuesdays, note that Tuesday appears once in this 2026 sample while Wed appears 5 times.
Independent corroboration from our own traffic
Two of these openings can be checked against a completely separate signal. On Monday July 20 the queue opened around 1:10 PM ET and on Wednesday July 22 around 1:05 PM ET. Our own visitor data for the Pokémon Center restock guide peaked at exactly 1 PM ET on both of those days, and on no other hour — people search the moment a queue appears. Different instrument, same answer.

The queue opening is your warning shot
In the 9 openings where both moments were logged, product went live a median of 13 minutes after the queue appeared — usually between 5 and 21 minutes, once as long as 77 minutes. That gap is the whole game: if you learn about the queue when it opens, you have time to get in position. If you learn about it when the product goes live, you are already behind everyone who was pinged.
Nobody can watch a 10 AM–1:15 PM window every weekday.
That is the actual problem this data describes. The queue opens without warning, inside a three-hour band, on a day you cannot predict. Running restock alerts, we have caught something on every Pokémon Center drop for the past 12 months — the ping arrives when the queue opens, which is exactly the 13-minute head start above.

What the queue actually does
- It is a holding line, not a lottery ticket. Getting a position means you will reach the store — it does not reserve stock. Popular items sell out while people are still in line.
- Wait estimates inflate the moment alerts fire. Quotes jump from around 45 minutes to multiple hours as soon as stock accounts broadcast, because arrival is simultaneous.
- A queue can open with no drop behind it. It sometimes appears and resolves without product, and product sometimes appears while you are already inside.
- Do not reload. Refreshing can cost your position, and there is no recovery.
- Canada runs its own queue. On July 22 2026 the Canadian site opened roughly 45 minutes after the US one — a sold-out US drop does not mean Canada has passed.
- Have payment and address saved beforehand. Cart timers are short and typing details is how people lose secured carts.

FAQ
What time does the Pokémon Center queue open?
There is no published schedule — Pokémon Center support does not release restock or queue times, so the only honest answer comes from observed openings. Across 19 documented queue openings the earliest was 10:09am ET and the latest 3:50pm ET, with a median of 12:49pm ET. The pattern tightened recently: all 10 openings logged in 2026 fell between 10:09am and 1:13pm ET, median 12:12pm ET, whereas 2025 openings ran as late as 3:50pm ET.
How long after the queue opens does the product go live?
Usually 5 to 21 minutes. In the 9 openings where both moments were recorded, the median gap between the queue opening and the product becoming buyable was 13 minutes, the shortest was 5 minutes and the longest was 77 minutes — over an hour. Treat the queue opening as your warning, not the drop itself: you generally have a few minutes to get into position.
Which day does the Pokémon Center queue open most often?
No day is fixed. In the 2026 log Wed accounts for 50% of openings, while the 2025 chart skewed toward Thu. Alert accounts have historically highlighted Tuesday as highest-probability, but Tuesday appears rarely in the recent data. Weekends are effectively dead for major TCG drops. The practical read is weekdays, late morning to early afternoon ET, with midweek busiest.
Does a queue always mean a drop is coming?
No. A queue can appear and resolve without any product going live, and product can also drop while you are already sitting in the queue. Queue wait times inflate sharply — from around 45 minutes to multiple hours — the moment stock alert accounts broadcast the opening, because everyone arrives at once.
How do I get into the Pokémon Center queue early?
Be logged in with your address and payment already saved before the window opens, keep the product page bookmarked rather than searching during a drop, and do not reload once you hold a queue position. Because the queue opens without warning, the only reliable way to be there at minute zero is a monitor that pings the moment it appears.
Is the Canadian Pokémon Center queue the same as the US one?
No — they run separately. On July 22 2026 the US queue opened around 1:05 PM ET and the Canadian site opened its own queue roughly 45 minutes later, so a sold-out US drop does not mean the Canadian one has passed.
Sources & caveats
- Queue openings compiled from @switchstock's "Queue is Now Open" posts and their March–May 2025 "Pokémon Center Queue Restock Times" chart, converted to US Eastern.
- Pokémon Center support publishes no restock or queue schedule. Everything here is observed behaviour, and behaviour shifts around set releases and holidays.
- 19 openings is a real sample but a small one, and the two periods are seasonal snapshots rather than continuous coverage — treat the 2026 narrowing as a strong tendency, not a guarantee.
- The 1 PM ET corroboration comes from our own visitor analytics, which measure when people search rather than when stock moves.
